Hooking up previously working Apple TV to new TV unit, library will not complete downloading

After setting up my previously working Apple TV to a new TV; everything working fine until downloading library to Apple TV screen and it keeps going and going without end. I do have 8K photos and loads of music, but this worked on my old tv.
