My iPod 5th gen. suddenly turned off and won't turn back on. What should I do? I don't want to loose any of my music or pictures in it.

Hi, sorry to bother but I have some complications with my fifth generation iPod touch. I was listening to music all day and was fully charged then suddenly my iPod turned off by itself and now it does not want to turn back on. I have pressed the Home and Sleep/Wake button strategy and still does not work. For how long should I be pressing the buttons? Also, i would not like to loose any of my music or photos in my I really need my iPod.

Try the remaining items of the following. However, erasing the iPod may be required.:

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

- Try another cable

- Try on another computer

- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
