reinstall yosemite

i seem to have 2 copies of yosemite on my disc

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.4)

If you restart with the option/alt key held down, what do you see? Could the 2nd copy be the Recovery Partition? If so, that is normal.
