Hi, I'm wondering is it possible to go to an authorized apple repair shop and buy the european plug (in Germany) for magsafe 2 only instead of getting the whole world traveller adapter kit? I know these 'duckheads' are available on ebay,but they may not be genuine.
It seems as though they are sold as a kit:

I very much doubt Apple will pull just the European plug out of a package and sell just it.
You could track down just the specific adapter from a third-party vendor, such as:
http://www.ebay.com/bhp/apple-europe-adapter
But make sure it's for the exact wattage of your MacBook Adapter (85W or whatever yours is).
Just be advised that Apple generally dislikes third-party power-provisioning products...
