How can I create a customized desktop sequence with other pictures? I downloaded these
cool pictures of planets like Jupiter and, you know, those other planets. I want them to
come and go like the regular Desktop sequence. And then, if I got tired of them, I could
go back to the default screen.

It sounds like you are wanting to have your desktop background change between some images you recently downloaded. You can move them to their own folder, and select that folder in the System Preferences. This article should help you do that:
