Live Bank Feed

There are a ton of personal finance softwares out there that all are capable of retrieving live bank feed information based on a financial institution account sign-in. How would one go about creating a live bank feed that imports information into Numbers with a simple login? Perhaps an automator service? Or would there be an easier/better way?
