Transfer iMessage iPhone conversation to Mac

So how can I transfer the entire iMessage conversation on my iPhone between me and my friend to my mac? Is it possible? Thanks!

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 8.4

I use PhoneView, a Mac app, to do just that. TouchCopy is another one that gets recommended.
