ipad4 has crashed and will not reboot

Hi guys,

I hope someone can help me out with my pad which has crashed. I have a black screen with a white apple logo which fades in and out. Re starting the pad does not change anything. Plugging the pad into iTunes is not successful either. The pad is either not recognised by iTunes or when it does decide to recognise it when reinstalling the OS it drops the connection and tells me no ipad can be found with error 2009.

I have the latest version of iTunes on my PC, antivirus is off etc
