Aug 1, 2015 7:57 AM in response to wins_lordby yoann007_appledis,I went the whole upgrade process from Win 8.1 to Win 10 on my MacBook Pro (Retina 15" Late 2013).
So far so good. But don't forget to run the Boot Camp Assistant setup.exe after the upgrade process is done, because some things were lost in the process (like Bluetooth support or volume/brightness/multimedia keys). Just do a simple repair, and it all comes back.
Only problem : WiFi stops working regularly (Windows goes from a working connection to "No Internet", and I have to toggle the WiFi switch off and on to regain access to the net). It might have to do with outdated WiFi drivers. I'm still looking for a better solution.

Aug 1, 2015 7:57 AM in response to wins_lordby Scott_Smith,I upgraded from 8.1 to 10 Thursday. The upgrade went fine but I lost the special keys on the keyboard for volume, brightness etc.
Just started searching this morning but so far have found nothing.

Aug 1, 2015 8:16 AM in response to wins_lordby itpropmn07,I clean installed (not upgrade) Windows 10 on my Macbook mid-2015 15 inch, everything is ok, except some issues:
+ "System Protection" does not work after installing Bootcamp driver.
+ VGA AMD M370X driver is old version and windows 10 force us to update to new version. However, the new driver does not support for Macbook (according to AMD, we must use driver in bootcamp to update), so Windows Update is always failed and cannot stop (because Windows 10 does not allow user to stop updating). I also used the tool of MS to hide this update but it's unsuccessful. Annoying!

Aug 1, 2015 8:17 AM in response to Scott_Smithby yoann007_appledis,You'll just have to launch the Boot Camp Assistant again (and choose "Repair"). It will restore the function keys and most of the things that were lost in the update ;-)

I'll give it a shot and report back shortly.

Aug 1, 2015 8:51 AM in response to yoann007_appledisby Scott_Smith,I Missed this reply the first time I scrolled through. Are you saying run the boot camp setup.exe on the windows side?
is that located on the USB drive you create in OSX?

Aug 1, 2015 9:08 AM in response to Scott_Smithby yoann007_appledis,Yes. If you don't have those files anymore, you can just create one again by running Boot Camp (OSX side) and check "Download the latest Windows support software from Apple". Then run the setup.exe, Windows side.

After I ran the boot camp.exe it did seem to blow out all my saved WiFi connections.
This is a 2015 Pro Retina so no built in Ethernet.
Looks like hot plugging Thunderbolt devices is still not supported. I have to have my Thunderbolt to Ethernet device pulled in at boot or Windows won't see it.

Aug 2, 2015 9:48 AM in response to wins_lordby icapricorn,On Windows 8.1 I kept all my game files on a LaCie solid state drive, "The Little Big Disk," with a Thunderbolt connection. However, once I upgraded to Windows 10 (within the windows environment, not with BCA), the system saw the solid state drive but clicking on it got an error. Wording to the effect of unknown function.
In researching this question online, the "function unknown" problem seems to affect other external hard drives. And may have to do with a need from the Hard drive manufacturer for a driver update. The LaCie website is a static one, without a help forum. They've also moved on to a Thunderbolt 2 version of my drive. I fear they won't support older tech like mine (older meaning 1 to 2 years old!)
I had to remove my windows partition in BCA, losing all the associated system files for my games and programs I then reinstalled Windows 8.1 (which took many attempts and black screens and a question to this forum.) Windows 8.1 again sees my SSD and opens it just fine.
I will not upgrade to 10 again unless I read that the bugs have been ironed out and the drivers have been supplied for my LaCie SSD. -

Nov 12, 2015 2:44 AM in response to this is getting oldby PetePK,I had a number of issues after upgrading to osx el Capitan.
1) Paralells 10 immediately stopped working.
2) Booting to windows 7 didn't help either, Screen brightness was stuck at 100%, Mac keyboard functions did not work
and sound didn't work either.
Being hasty I decided to use the opportunity to upgrade to windows 10 which did not resolve any issues.
3) Upgraded to Paralells 11 trial version and everything works but system extremely slow. except problems still persist when using boot camp and booting into windows, (sound, screen brightness and keyboard issues)
4) Searched online again then found this link
https://support.apple.com/en-za/HT204923
Followed instructions exactly as per the link above and now everything is working perfectly.
Looking back I wasted almost a week trying to resolve issues when really all I had to do was carry out the instructions above which helped me sort
out all my issues in under an hour.
One other issue I was having was that I battled with downloading the windows support drivers, the download kept timing out and the deleting
or formatting process wouldn't work.
I discovered that the 16gb flash drive I was using was faulty only after using another flash ( 8GB ) drive when
I mislaid the 16bg one.
