Downloading e-books to Kobo

I am trying to d/l e-books to my Kobo using Adobe Digital Editions V. 4.0. Adobe keeps quitting on me and I'm wondering if anyone has had this happen to them. I have d/l many books using the same program but recently I am unable to do so. The message I get when Adobe quits is to forward the problem to Apple…which of course, does nothing. Anyone else have this problem?

Your Mac must be running v10.8 or later to use Adobe Ditital Editions > http://www.adobe.com/solutions/ebook/digital-editions/tech-specs.html

If you are not sure which OS X is installed, click your Apple . From the drop down menu click: About This Mac

The version is noted there.

If your Mac is OS X compatible with Adobe Digital Editions, you can get help from Adobe here.

Don't bother sending crash reports to Apple for third party software.
