Basically i got a second hand iPhone 5S, but the installed carrierbundle is ドコモ (DoCoMo). I'd like to install my correct carrierbundle (O2). Is it safe to do so? And if so, how do i backup the current carrierbundle?
Note: iPhone doesn't update it automatically when i put in my sim, neither does iTunes. This is my only option.

You'd need to contact DoCoMO to see if they will unlock the phone. Last I checked, Japanese carriers didn't unlock phones, though.
The phone is fully unlocked.
If it is fully unlocked when you put an O2 nanoSIM in it and activate it the carrier settings will be replaced. This is assuming you had DoCoMo unlock it, completed the process in iTunes and got the message, "Congratulations, your iPhone is unlocked".
Well since my O2 card works in it i assume it's unlocked, an orange card worked in it aswell. Do i need to turn off the wifi for it to replace the carrier settings?
Install a foreign CarrierBundle through iTunes?
