Q: I can not send outgoing emails from my gmail server.  Who can help me?

from Mail on my MacBook I can not send outgoing emails.  They go into the outbox and stay there.

 

My chrome google works fine.

 

But I also want to send directly from Mail.

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

    Hi rhaugie7,

     

     

    If you're unable to send e-mail from the Mail application, there's likely an issue keeping the application from communicating properly with the desired outgoing mail server. Fortunately, the Mail application has a tool called Connection Doctor that can help identify the source of this interruption so that adjustments can be made and functionality restored to the app.

    Connection Doctor can be accessed via the Window menu > Connection Doctor.
