why cannot you use private mode when banking

I be been having issues with banking and emails Been told my broadband has a few secs of vulnerability I started to have problems and it is even more obvious when using iPad

THis actually would explain my problems since changed hub plus new incomer s to my area I have so many problems Thought iPad was safe so bought one but cannot even download updates as 4 digit no has changed If I start afresh I will loose all my books music etc

wwould grateful for ans or anything I can do to protect me from my Internet address being access
