I tried to install Canon pixma printer download on MacBook Pro OS X snow leopard ...froze up and now won't do anything...stuck on trying to load when I turn it on...did everything it says in the manual...no permission problems, HD is ok..help me,plea

I Did everything in the manual...no permissions problem...HD is ok...what do I do next...this happened before when I tried to override permissions of installing Kodak printer...but I got it working perfect again....Kodak is not compatible....period...but I bought a new printer yesterday, and it is sposed to be compatible, but during the process of installing it, the same thing happened and this time I can't get my MacBook Pro working...I turn it on, and it just sits there with the circle trying to find system...help me please......when I try to

The directory is FUBR and needs to be repaired. Or Restore the system - completely.

ERASE and install. If you must and install on another (external) drive, then recover files and backup to a 3rd drive.
