Windows 10 Installation not going past 10% at "Getting Devices Ready" screen

So, I’ve got a late 2014 15 inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display and am having no luck in installing Windows 10 through Boot Camp.

After a few failed attempts of upgrading from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10, I decided to perform a clean install on my Mac.

I successfully got through the first stage of the installation, but after the first reboot the installation gets to the “Getting Devices Ready” which is were it gets stuck at 10% and won’t go any further.

I’ve tried to let it finish, but 3 hours later; it’s still sitting at 10%. I’ve tried this a few times but with no joy.

So my question is: Has anyone faced this issue (specifically with is generation MacBook) and how did you get the installation to complete?

Thank you for any help in advance,

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Yosemite (10.10.4), Windows 10
