itunes freezes when phone gets plugged in

I just got windows 10 yesterday and I plugged my phone into my laptop and opened iTunes and it just freezes and doesn't do anything so I have to force close it. It does it when I open iTunes first as well.

iPhone 5, iOS 8.4
