no sound. Videos won't load

There is No sound coming out of my computer. Furthermore, you tube videos and facebook videos will not load since updating to Version 10.10.4. What is going on???

MacBook Pro (13-inch Early 2011), OS X Yosemite (10.10.4), no sound through ports or speaker
