my pictures are not all stored in DCIM only the last few..

Hi .. i am trying to transfer my pictures to my windows pc from my i phone 5. I go to the DCIM folder and there are two sub folders but not all of my pictures are stored. How do i get all pictures on my i phone to be stored on DCIM?
