I just recently made an RSS feed with Wordpress. iTunes is asking for a cover art. I have the cover art on my computer, but I don't know how to actually submit it in a format that iTunes will recognize. Could someone tell me how to do this? I'm a bit new at it and I'm not really that familiar with RSS feeds so please be detailed and explain as simply as possible, thanks.

You need to create a suitable image: it must be minimum 1400 x 1400 px and maximum 3000 x 3000 px (though there's no point at all in going that large, as it won't dispoay at that size), RGB, JPG or PNG, and less than 500kb. You then need to get it into the 'itunes:image' tag in the top section of the feed. I can't advise on exactly how you would do this with Wordpress. Thanks, I got the file/size specifications. I just need to find out how to upload it. I read through the link but it looks like it's for Wordpress.com. I probably should have specified I was using the downloaded Wordpress (from wordpress.org), and not wordpress.com so I could use it for my site. It looks like they make it a little easier to make podcasts on wordpress.com than they do on the .org version.I found this, https://codex.wordpress.org/Podcasting but I'm having some trouble understand it.
I'm still doing research on how to do it with Wordpress, but is there a simpler software platform you'd suggest other than Wordpress to generate RSS feeds that takes care of these technical details for me?
If you are creating your own feed then you need to upload the image to your server, and then present the resultant URL to the method you are using to create the feed. I can't really advise on other systems - the method I used a few years ago involved a program which is no longer available. Wordpress is poplar though it is quite difficult to use and causes a lot of problems; you may need to use Blubrry Powerpress plugin for best results - they have a forum at http://forum.blubrry.com
