Importing ringtones into an IPhone 6

I went to an iPhone 6 from the 4 and lost all my ringtones. They are gone from itunes, too. I have tried Zedge, but it will not connect to iTunes. How do you import a custom ring tone into the iPhone 6? And any thoughts on what to do about Zedge? Has anyone else used them?
