When I am in Facebook and want to post a picture, it will not connect me to iPhoto to pick a picture.

How exactly are you trying to do this - remember we can not see you so posts like yours can not be answered since ewe have no idea what you have, what you are doing or what is going wrong

I am on my Mac using Facebook through Safari. When I am on my FB page and I want to upload a photo I hit "upload photo" and it prompts me to select from iPhoto Library or Photo Library. When I click on one of these where I have tons of pictures, it won't bring up any of the pictures. It just keeps running and running (little colored circle). My phone, iPad and Mac are all synced and all my pictures are on each device. My daughter says quit trying to do it on my Mac and just use my phone! My Facebook account is not configured on my Mac.

Again we can not see you So which one are you clicking on - iPhoto or Photos?
And how long do you wait? And what happens finally?

I Have tried clicking on both. I am waiting probably 2-3 minutes. Nothing happens. The little colored ball just keeps running and running. I finally just shut down Facebook to make it quit.
Reboot your Mac and try again
