Shut down [it should do this it self] and wipe all water off
You need to take it into your nearest Apple Authorised repairer and have it checked. If water has gotten into the inner components then they will corrode over time. Do not plug it into power until it has been checked or it may damage it beyond repair or electrocute you.

The best chance for survival of a 'baptized' MBP is to turn it off immediately. (If it has turned off by itself, the odds are that major components have failed and any action taken will be futile.)
Take out the battery.
Drench the inside if the MBP with non-residue electrical cleaner. Spray it aggressively.
Take it apart and clean all of the pieces thoroughly.
Reassemble.
The sooner these actions are taken, the better your chances for success.
Rice and multi-day drying is Taurus Excrementum. It does not rid the MBP of the hostile contaminants.
Ciao.
