When I open imovie it starts loading iMovie library and never finishes. I cannot get to any projects or use iMovie. I am running iMovie 10.0.05 and Yosemite. Help!

When I open imovie it starts loading the iMovie library and never finishes. I cannot get to any projects or use iMovie.

The event that it is having trouble with is one that was being converted from project to file when I had to force quit. In finder I can see the iMovie library, but cannot see or get to any of the components.

I am running iMovie 10.0.05 and Yosemite 10.10.2 on an early 2011 13" Macbook

Help!
