I would like to change my daughter's existing iCloud account to a child iCloud account

When iCloud was first introduced, I setup an Apple ID and iCloud email account for my daughter. She is about to turn 12 and I would like to covert her account to a child account on our family account. How do I accomplish this?

iPhone 6, iOS 8.4

You can do this by logging into your Apple ID at http://appleid.apple.com in the Name, ID and Email Address section on the left.
