How do I know apple watch is charging
is there an indicator I'm missing on the Apple watch that tells me it is charging? I know I can check battery remaining on the watch itself but can't figure out how to know if it's charging. M
thanks!

A little "lightning bolt" icon will appear at the top of the watch face.
So there's no lightening bolt and power is steadily decreasing. Also decreasing on my phone rapidly. can that be from the watch?
Okay, figured it out. The USB into the charger is a tight fit and wasn't well seated. Thanks for the help!
when you attach it to the charger it will"ding" and a green lightening bolt will appear briefly
My problem was my wife "helped" me out by turning the charge pad over so the ugly white side was down and the pretty shinny side up and I did not notice until my watch totally discharged - now I look and listen when I put the watch to charge each nite

I test by lifting the watch briefly after I put it onto the charger. If the charge pad does not stick to the watch, the change pad is upside down.
