IOS Remote App doesn't list matched songs/albums

I have the latest iTunes on my MacBook Pro 13 Retina, and the latest IOS on my iPhone 5c, and the latest Remote app on the iPhone

When I browse my MacBook's iTunes library using the Remote app on my iPhone, it only lists albums and songs that have been downloaded onto the MacBook, not any of my library that is in the cloud as part of iTunes Match/Apple Music's iCloud Library. This is confusing as when I go to playlists that contain songs in the clouds, they are listed with a download icon beside them on the app, so why can't I see standard albums and songs the same way?
