My mac won't pick up the input 2
My mac won't pick up the input two when recording my mic on stereo. I'm using an AVID interface with logic X and the pan is central, how can i change this?
MacBook Pro, null

What type of microphone are you using? Mics are basically mono devices, and you never want to record stereo with a mono device. No need for it. If you want to record true stereo, you'd need to use two mics, separated at a proper distance.
apologies for the late response. Its an audio technical at4040. I'm sure I remember that when I first had it, stereo appeared in the mixer, but at some point it changed. I must have done it by accident, or is it possible that I blew one channel on the mic - I can't imagine it is, i should really try it out with a different interface. Im using an AVID interface
I doubt you have blown the mic as it is a mono mic........ not a stereo model....
