This is a picture of my 5-6 years old Macbook Pro. It´s alive and growing....
I like the machine when i could use the touch pad, but now it is out of service.
Is this normal?

Expanding battery.
Did you ever get any "Replace battery" warning?
ALL Apple products are made with planned obsolescence in mind. In a way, I suppose that is what modern design is all about though I have to agree with Dominic, that is a technical failure.
Old batteries that are failing will occasionally expand and if not caught in time result in what you have experienced. Expect the normal useful life span of a battery to be in the 4 to 5 year range regardless how much or little it has been used.
Bring you MBP into an Apple store genius bar and perhaps only the trackpad assembly needs to be replaced.

There was no warning, just a touch pad that was changing behaviour.
The trackpad changing behavior WAS your warning, you just didn't realize it.
Every time I've had a battery swell up in a MacBook, the first clue I had was when the trackpad began not working correctly. It would get harder to click and I noticed on one MacBook, the trackpad didn't fit into the case as it used to.
Is this planned obsolescence?
