My iPad and iPhone are connected to my home wifi but I can't go on any apps on them that need wifi to work?

Both my iPad and my iPhone are connected to my home wifi however when i try and use netflix, google, any iplayers etc, they can't load up. It also happens with snapchat, instagram etc.My laptop and home computers are able to get onto the internet it's just the apple products that can't seem to. The wifi symbol is present on both of the devices but I can't get onto anything that needs wifi or the internet to work. Please help!
