login problems

login problems

Hi, I am having problems logging in to a particular site, it just loads forever. I have no problems with any other sites. I have tried reseting safari, deleting cookies and caches but to no avail. I can't login with any other machine in the house and the site admin people azure me it's a problem on my end. I'll take any suggestions! I use a BT home hub as my modem, could it be a problem with that? I have tried reseting that too but nothing has fixed the problem.

A couple of weeks ago, it started to work for a few days and now it's back to the same frustrating problem.

iMac, OS X Version 10.8.5

I should also add that I have tried 2 other browsers and as I run vmsoftware , I have tried it on windows too.

What site....? Your description sounds more like a problem with the website.

I am here in the UK and I got someone who is in Italy to try and they got in with my details with no problem. So I assume it is something to do with my computer or safari?. The site is stubhub.co.uk and all they can tell me is to delete caches and cookies which I do.

Try changing your DNS settings:

Finally, the site told me the problem was with their partner site stubhub.com, I needed to agree to terms and conditions on that site before I could enter the co.uk site. It now works but it took them months to tell me.
