why does my new iphone 6 die overnight

i got an iphone 6 a couple of weeks ago. until a few days ago the battery was great. now the battery will be used up faster and will die overnight even if im at 63%. i have heard that it is the ios. HELP PLEASE. THIS CANT HAPPEN ONCE SCHOOL STARTS!
