MacBook Pro runs slow

Hello,

it's been about 14 days that my MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2012, 2,5 GHz Intel Core i5, 4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3), OS X Yosemite 10.10.4 starts to run really slowly. It often freezes and you can see "loading circle". It takes from seconds to minutes. Whatever I click it starts freeze (notes, songs in iTunes, movies, Safari, Photos.. everything. I have tried resetting the PRAM as well as the SMC. Nothing worked. Activity monitor doesn't show anything. I have about 200 GB free disc space. Nothing is on my desktop. Health of my battery is good. I don't really know what to do.

Please help me if you know about something what makes my Macbook runs fast again.

Thank you.

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.4)

The startup drive is failing, or there is some other internal hardware fault.

Back up all data on the drive immediately if you don't already have a current backup. There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional—ask if you need guidance.

Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store, or go to another authorized service provider.

If privacy is a concern, erase the data partition(s) with the option to write zeros* (do this only if you have at least two complete, independent backups, and you know how to restore to an empty drive from any of them.) Don’t erase the recovery partition, if present.

Keeping your confidential data secure during hardware repair

Apple also recommends that you deauthorize a device in the iTunes Store before having it serviced.

*An SSD doesn't need to be zeroed.

You have two offensive applications that you do not need and may be contributing to your problems. They are CleanMyMac2 and Mackeeper. Go to the respective developer web sites and use their uninstall instructions.

Boot into the Recovery Partition and from the 4 option menu select Disk Utility.

Run Disk Utility>First Aid, verify and repair.

If the disk cannot be repaired, it will have to be replaced.

Ciao.
