no group assignment tab in mixer - Logic Pro X

Dear Forum users,

I'm pretty new to Logic. I wanted to use the groups function for mixing and editing but it doesn't show in the mixer. In the beginning it seem that the groups function is checked in the view-channel strip components window but it doesn't show in the mixer. When I look at it again the check is gone and I can't re-check it. Any ideas what I can do?

Control+Click on the background of a Channel Strip to bring up the Shortcut Menu where you select "Channel Strip Components". The "Group" item has to be checked in the submenu (also available from the local View Menu)
