When trying to dowload/obtain games for my iPad, some apps say Download, purchase or get. When I choose a download or get the app never shows up on iPad. Are they not all games?? What is the difference between them.

Get indicates a free app.
Download indicates an app that you have previously purchased (or downloaded if free).
Sorry but I don't know why they wouldn't show up on the iPad. Have you checked farther back than the front home screen or tried search (slide finger down starting below the top of the home screen)?
