MacBook Pro, OSX 10.8.5 4GB 2.26 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

Battery Weak. Do I order at Apple giving these specs. How does one change it without losing everything?

You may have a 2009 MacBook Pro based on the 2.26 GHz Core 2 Duo.

Diffident screen size Macs have different batteries.

You likely can get a battery here and install it yourself

Data is stored on your hard drive so replacing the battery does not effect data

Thank you! I used link and found the correct battery. It IS a MacBook Pro 2009. Question: How straightforward to change the battery? Remove 10 screws and lift the back...is battery easy to remove and replace? I am not very "handy"

I looked at the video for the 13 inch 2009 and it is as straightforward as the video shows.

Just note that unless you purchase the battery from OWC you will have to separately purchase the tri-lobe screw driver.
