When I press the button to do so it flashes ringer but when I begin to increase it , it. Make sure you do as modular747 suggests. Then, while you are watching a video, use the buttons. If you're not watching a video, the buttons will not affect the volume of videos.
yeah but without the ringer turned up the volume for the video is really low even when maxed out
