What operating system are you using? I'm on 10.10.4 and I do not see any update.
Sorry should of been more clear 10.10.4 - Just the update that was on the app store for yosemite .
Do not receive any error messages just a constant load left it alone for a while to see if internet was playing up - Imesssage on my phone and iPad are totally fine
huh...I don't see any update yet. The last update I see was 22 July for Flash storage Firmware update.
Oh wait a minute....I think I misunderstood your question. You updated to 10.10.4 today (there was not a message or FaceTime update) right?
Is the update complete and you are just getting the beachball when you try and open message or FaceTime? If so, just restart your computer and sign back into both of those apps using your Apple ID and see if that corrects itself.
I'd delete that pic with your Apple ID so you don't get spammed.
Thats okay yes i updated today 10.10.4 - no update for them that I'm aware of sorry! yes update completed this morning was working fine before hand now just nothing 😟
okay I have tried the restart root already that seems to be getting me not luck either
Can you cancel out of that and go back into messages and FaceTime preferences and enter your apple id from there instead of using the pop ups?
It wont seem to allow me to get into any preferences for facetime imesssage unless having the pop up one
Okay now got into iMessage preferences and is now coming up with that I'm not connected to a network when i clearly am - i have turned wifi off and on and restarted ðŸ˜
Try unplugging your internet router for a minute then plug it back in. Sometimes those things are finicky.
Still no luck - i think its going to be a case of just getting on with it ! so frustrating
