The file path is right in the 'preferences' window. The folder is there. All the music from my CDs is missing and Everything has the 'cloud' Icon next to it. Nothing is loading into ITunes from the selected folder. Yes, I tried 'add folder'. Yes, I tried reinstalling ITunes.

The iTunes Media folder location setting in Edit > Preferences > Advanced is not used by iTunes to locate the existing content of your library. That information is all held within the iTunes database (the iTunes Library.itl file). This setting determines where new additions to your library will be stored. Did you move your media folders, or copy them from an old computer?

If you still have access to the old computer you need to copy the complete library, not just the media files, to your new one. See How to move your iTunes library to a new computer - Apple Support.
