Trying to locate Apple System Profiler. Running OS X 10.9.5. Want to get Serial Numbers (S/N) for my external hard drives. It's not under the Apple Menu or System Preferences. Is there another method to get these S/N?

Hold down the option key and click on the Apple logo. Choose System Information.
Choose About this Mac from the Apple menu, and then click on System Report. Apple replaced the System Profiler with System Information.

Forgot to state that I have an iMac desktop, mid-2011.
I've done that before & viewing under Hardware -> Storage, it lists all my drives. It provides:

BSD Name:
Volume UUID:
Physical Drive:
etc., but doesn't give the Serial Number.
I'm in Win 7 at the moment, but I was looking earlier. It's down further under SATA or the one next to it.
Thanks for the quick response. Looking under SATA/SATA EXPRESS gives the Serial Number for the Mactintosh HD, not the external hard drives.
Normally, there will be a label on the external drive with the model and serial number.

Just tested it and I get the same results. All internal drives show the make, model and serial number. The external has to be checked under FireWire (since that's how I have it connected). There, it shows me that it's a Mercury Elite 1 TB drive, but not what type of drive is in the enclosure or its serial number. I would guess the bridge board is getting in the way of System Information seeing that info.
When I click-on FireWire, here's what I get:

Maximum Speed: Up to 800 Mb/sec
Somehow the Serial Number label on the eternal drive box matches the Serial Number label on the bottom of the physical drive, but when I try to register the Seagate drive I get Invalid Serial Number.
