My iCloud account won't log in on my Mac.

I have a MacBook Air (early 2015 with Yosemite 10.10.3) and for some reason I can't get iMessage to log in using my Apple ID (iCloud), nor can I get iCloud in general to log in on my mac. I can log in to my Apple ID and iCloud through the Safari browser though.

MacBook Air, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)

What happens when you go to System Preferences/iCloud? Can you sign in there?

Hey Eric,

I think I got it to work. Something with my phone number I think confused the system. When it wasn't working it kept spinning the loading icon indefinitely.
