Itunes not syncing after update to iPod Shuffle

I have the newest version for the apple iPod shuffle in purple. I plug in my device and it promptly shows up. After it syncs one or two songs it freezes and program says not responding. I've tried on multiple computers. Both using windows 8. Updated all flash players and java updates and uninstalled iTunes and Re-Installed. Resulting in no music on my iPod because I even tried restoring it thinking that was the problem! Please help!

iPod shuffle, Windows 8, Everything is up to date!
