Having just downloaded Windows 10, why does Itunes and Istore not recognise my ID?

I just downloaded Windows 10 and on connecting my Iphone, I received an error message that the device was not recognised. On entering username and password it advised me that anything in my library that I have downloaded via Istore would be deleted, then advised that registration was unsuccessful.
