the screen after traveling only works when I put pressure on the back of the screen. Any clues on what to do?

I bought my computer in January of 2013, it is not the retina display model. My screen has been having issues for a little bit now but about three weeks ago it stopped working unless I keep pressure on the back of my screen. The screen is also getting to where the words and pictures are not as crisp and clear but they are fading from the top to about half way down. Any ideas on how to fix it or what to do about it?
