Q: My iphone 4 does a cracking or frying or glitching sound I think the problem from the hardware

I Had this problem a month ago my iphone 4 start doing glitching or frying or cracking sound and it get over heated but it get more heated when i but it in the charger I think the problem is from the hardware mabey not sure please help me

iPhone 4, iOS 7.1.2, Uk virsion

Hello mo15198,

You mention a couple items about your iPhone, glitching or frying or cracking sounds and getting over heated especially when charging.

I'm not sure if those sounds you mention are coming from the speakers so you may want to start with this article Get help with hardware features on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

It has sections for sound issues as well as charging and temperature questions.
