App Store not showing Featured or Charts / Email not showing messages

When I select the Apps Store icon on my Ipad (Gen 4), it now will not show Featured or Charts. It will show what I purchased and Updates only.

When I select ITunes Store icon, it will show but only for Music, Movies, etc with no issues.

What happened to the Apps Store and being able to do a search for a new App on my IPad?

Second problem is when I access my email, it will show who the message is from, a brief one liner what the subject is but when I click on the email, it opens only to be blank page with just who the message is from.

This all changed once Music showed up on the IPad. The Ipad is updated with the latest OS version.
