desperate: need help recovering voice memo

Hello. I'm not sure if this is even possible but it's worth asking about: I got a new iphone and made several important voice memos before connecting it with itunes. When I finally plugged it into my computer, I clicked "restore from last back up." The last backup was on a different iphone - that did not have the new voice memos. Did I lose those memos forever or is there any possible way to recover them. Please help!! (The new phone was an iphone 6. The phone that was last restore was an iphone 6 plus. - Yeah, I downsized.)
