I want to use a condenser mic on my iphone 5s - will a standard xlr to mini jack be ok to use
iPhone 5s, iOS 8.4

To my knowledge, condenser microphones require phantom power so just an adapter will not work. I think you probably need to run it through a mixer first, but maybe someone who knows differently will respond.
