My library has been replaced by my husband's

My husband has used my Mac for his iTunes and now even when I'm in my account, it's his music. Is there any way of getting my library back?

Hi rachloveslive,

If I understand your question, your husband has changed the content in your iTunes library to his music.

Do you have a backup of your iTunes Library? Or, do you have a Time Machine backup that you can restore your iTunes library to a time before your husband accessed it?

The best way to keep your husband's data separate from yours on your Mac is to create a separate administrative User Account for him.

Here are some resources to help you with this.

OS X Yosemite: Restore items backed up with Time Machine

Back up your iTunes library by copying it to an external drive - Apple Support

OS X Yosemite: Set up users on your Mac
