Unhide purchased items

The latest revision of itunes seems to "hide" some of my compilation albums. I have gone in to "unhide" them as instructed by itunes, but nothing will allow them to be selected. I check the "unhide" button and nothing happens. Anyone else having this issue? Anyone figured out how to fix it?
