iPod Classic 120 GB not recognized by iTunes 12.2.1.16 Mac OS X 10.10.4

Hi,

is it just me or does anybody else have problems to connect an iPod Classic 120 GB to iTunes using version 12.2.1.16 and Mac OS X 10.10.4?

In the disc utility my iPod shows up, but it is not recognized by iTunes. Any ideas or solutions to this problem?

I just solved this problem. I was able to reset my iPod using a Windows 8.1 system with iTunes. Now it connects to my iTunes on Mac again.
